In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Acer Iconia B1-720.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Acer Iconia B1-720 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

Instruction #1


1. First of all, turn the device on by pressing the Power button.


2. Is it on? Good. Now, hold down the Volume Up key for a few seconds.


3. As you hold the Volume Up button, press and hold the Power key for 3 seconds and release it. Continue holding the Volume Up button.


4. Stop holding the buttons when the phone is on again.
5. Now, choose "Wipe Data/Factory Reset"  from the menu by using Volume buttons to scroll and Power button to select options.


6. If you are sure that you want to go ahead with this, Tap "yes". Do remember - this will clean all the data off your phone.
7. Accept the option "reboot system now" using the Power button.


8. Congratulations, you have just performed the hard reset.

Instruction #2


1. Turn the device on by pressing the Power button for a few seconds (duh).


2. When it's on, go the Menu > Settings.
3. When there, choose Backup & Reset and tap Factory data reset.


4. Now, choose Reset device and select Erase everything; this will confirm the operation.
5. Yay. You have managed to follow simple directions and, therefore, performed a hard reset.
