In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Acer Liquid E2.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Acer Liquid E2 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Turn the phone off by using the Power button.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Up + Power key for a few seconds.
3. When a new menu appears onscreen, release held keys.
4. From that menu, choose Recovery option by using Volume Up to navigate and Volume Down button to select.
5. Now hold down the Volume Up and Power button for a few seconds to see the Recovery Mode menu.
6. From the available options, choose "Wipe data / Factory reset" by using the Volume Down and press the Power key for confirmation.
7. Then choose "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down to scroll and Power button to select.
8. Restart the phone by selecting "reboot system now".
9. You have completed the hard reset.
1. Press the Power button to turn the phone on.
2. Go to Main Menu > Settings > Backup & reset.
3. Now choose the Factory Data Reset.
4. After that, tap Reset Phone.
5. Next, select Erase Everything.
