In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Acer Liquid Z520.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Acer Liquid Z520 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. First, press and hold the Power key to turn the device off.
2. Next, press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons for several seconds.
3. Release all keys when the Boot Mode appears.
4. A new menu will appear on screen. From it, select the Recovery option by using Volume Up to scroll and Volume Down to confirm.
5. After the Android Image shows on screen, press the Power button to enter Recovery Mode.
6. Now use Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset". Push thePower button to confirm.
Please select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume buttons toscroll and Power rocker to choose.
8. Restart the tablet by selecting "reboot system now".
9. Hoozah, you have performed the hard reset.
1. For starters, hold the Power button until your device turns on.
2. Afterwards, open Menu and choose Settings.
3. Next, select Backup&Reset and tap Factory data reset.
4. Now choose Reset device and then select Erase everything to begin the hard reset operation.
