In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Alcatel Idol 2 Mini S.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel Idol 2 Mini S device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. First, press and hold the Power key to turn the device off.
2. Next, press and hold the Volume Up + Power buttons for several seconds.
3. Recovery Mode menu should now open.
4. Now use Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset". Push thePower button to confirm.
5. Please select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume buttons to scroll and Power rocker to choose.
6. Restart the tablet by selecting "reboot system now".
