In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Alcatel Pixi 8.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Alcatel Pixi 8 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

Instruction #1


1. For starters, press and hold the Power key to turn the device off.



2. Next, press and hold the Power + Volume Up buttons.

3. Let go of the keys when you see Boot Mode.

4. Afterwards, scroll down to Recovery, using Volume Up and press Volume Down to confirm it.

5. Choose wipe data/factory reset by pressing Volume Down and confirming Power button.

6. Use Volume Down to scroll and Power key to select "Yes - delete all user data".


7. From the new menu, select "reboot system now".

8. You have done it, the hard reset is over.

Instruction #2


1. Switch the phone on.

2. Is the phone on? Then open Settings and choose Backup & Reset.

3. Afterwards, select Privacy, then choose Reset device.

4. To begin the hard reset operation, please select Reset phone and then Erase everything.

5. Factory reset operation has been performed.

 

Instruction #3


1. Hold down the Power rocker for a while to turn the phone off.

2. Next, press and hold Volume Down + Power button at once for about 10 seconds.


3. To choose "Clear eMMC", use the Volume Down to navigate and Power button to confirm.


4. Hard reset operation should begin now.
