In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Allview Viva Q8.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Allview Viva Q8 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. First, hold down Power key to turn off the device.
2. Now press Volume Up + Power button simultaneously.
3. Release all buttons when the Android logo appears.
4. Afterwards, press Power button to enter Recovery Mode.
5. Here, use Volume Keys to navigate to "wipe data/factory reset", then select it with Power key.
6. Use Power key again to select "Yes--delete all user data".
7. Restart the device by selecting "reboot system now".
8. Yay, woohoo, you have completed the hard reset.
1. Power on the device by pressing and holding Power key.
2. Next, go to Settings and then to Backup & reset.
3. Select Factory Data Reset > Reset Device.
4. Are you sure you want to do this? If so, select Erase Everything.
5. Press OK to confirm.
6. Your tablet is ready to be used again. Great.
