In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Asus Transformer Prime TF201.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Asus Transformer Prime TF201 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Power off the device.
2. Few seconds later, press and hold both Power key + Volume down.
3. When the bootloader screen appears, use Volume Down to select the Wipe data option.
4. Another new window will open, stating "Press volume up button to continue process". Do as the window says.
5. The hard reset operation is complete.
1. Power up the device - to do that, press the Power key.
2. Is the device on? Then go to Settings and open Backup&Reset.
3. Next, tap Factory data reset and choose Reset device, followed by Erase everything.
4. You have completed the hard reset, woohoo.
