In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Asus ZenPad Z8.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Asus ZenPad Z8 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Press and hold the Power button until the device turns off.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Down + Power button.
3. Stop holding the aforementioned keys when a new menu will appear on screen.
4. Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset option by using Volume Down to navigate the menu and then Power button to confirm your choice.
5. Select the Yes--delete all user data option.
6. Next thing to do is to reboot system now.
7. The factory reset process is complete.
1. Power on the device by pressing and holding the Power key.
2. Your next step should be to go to Settings.
3. Now choose Backup & Reset, then go to Factory data reset.
4. Select Reset device.
5. To complete the operation, please select Erase everything.
6. Your work is done, and the hard reset process is complete.
