In order to hard reset a BlackBerry Bold 9000, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
BlackBerry Bold 9000 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Hello. Please press the Power button to turn the phone on.
2. Now please press and hold the Memory Key, which will open the Main Menu.
3. Be so kind as to select Settings. Tap the Security Options and select Security Wipe.
4. You will be asked to enter the word "BlackBerry" into the phone. Please do so.
5. Initiate the security wipe process by choosing the Wipe option.
6. Congratulations, you have completed the hard reset.
