In order to hard reset a BlackBerry Torch 9860, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
BlackBerry Torch 9860 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. The first thing for you to do is to switch on the device.
2. Next, press Menu key and enter Options. There, select Security Wipe and give the Menu key a double tap.
3. Choose Options, then Security and Security Wipe.
4. Select the files that you want to reset. enter the word "BlackBerry" into the text box.
5. Complete the process by selecting Wipe Data.
