In order to hard reset a CHUWI Hi8, you should perform the following steps.

Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
CHUWI Hi8 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.

1. Start by powering up the device.

2. Continue by entering Menu, Settings, Change PC settings and Update and recovery.

3. Next, select Recovery.

4. Choose the Remove everything and reinstall Windows option.

5. Lastly, select Next when prompted to. Give the hard reset time to complete. Voila!
