In order to hard reset a Cricket EZ, you should perform the following steps.

Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Cricket EZ device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.

1. Turn on your phone and type *228.

2. Now type ##4357*
3. Choose View, scroll to the bottom and select Reset. If asked for a code, provide (default code is 000000).
4. Type *228 again. Press Send. Your phone should now reset and restart.
