In order to hard reset a Dell XCD28, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Dell XCD28 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Now press & hold the Volume Down & Power button for, say, five seconds? Yes, five seconds.
3. A new menu will appear. From it, choose the wipe user data and restore factory settings options - to do that, use Volume buttons to scroll and Power button to accept.
4. Give the device a few minutes to reset and restart and voila!, hard reset is complete.
