In order to hard reset a Ematic Genesis, you should perform the following steps.

Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Ematic Genesis device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.

1. Press and hold the Power button to turn off the phone. 

2. Now go to Settings > Backup & Reset > Factory data reset.

3. Next, select Reset device and Erase everything. The hard reset is complete.
