In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Huawei G5500.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Huawei G5500 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. First of all, turn on the phone.
2. Now open the dialer, press Call button and enter this code into it: ##258741
3. Next on confirm whole Factory reset process by tapping Call key again.
4. Good job, your phone will now reset and restart.

2. Now open Settings > Advanced settings > Security > Phone and SIM card.
3. Select the Reset your phone to the factory settings option and type in the password (0000 by default).
4. Your phone will now reset and restart. Woohoo.
