A Hard Reset reverts a phone to its original settings and a clean OS (Operating System) removing all data and information added to the cell phone by the mobile phone user.

In essence a Hard Reset erases everything from the phone and puts the phone back to like new condition as though it’s brand new right out of the box.

 

METHOD 1

1. For this method you will have to power on the device.

2. Now find settings and go to Backup and Reset. 

3. Here you have to tap on Factory data reset, and your'e almost finished.

4. There is going to be information about that your data is going to be wiped out of your device, proceed with "Reset device"

5. And done. Your phone will now restart now.

METHOD 2

1. This time you have to turn off your device and wait 10 seconds.

2. Now hold down power button and volume down button.

3. Then if you see logo LG on your screen, then release holded keys.

4. And immediately press and hold previously mentioned keys.

5. When you will see Recovery mode screen, you can release the buttons.

6. Now you have to use volume keys to scroll down to wipe data/factory reset and press power button to confirm.

7. And done! your phone will now restart and you're good to go.
