A Hard Reset reverts a phone to its original settings and a clean OS (Operating System) removing all data and information added to the cell phone by the mobile phone user.
In essence a Hard Reset erases everything from the phone and puts the phone back to like new condition as though it’s brand new right out of the box.
1. First lets start from powering off your phone.
2. Next thing you have to press and hold together Volume Down + Power button.
3. Now you have to wait untill LG logo appears, when it does show up immediately release Power button for 1 second. Keep holding the volume down button.
4. After that, press again sequence from 2nd step which is Volume Down + Power button. And hold them until you see the menu system.
5. You can see now information "Erase all user date restore default settings?", and there will be two buttons: Yes and No.
6. Please use the Volume Down to go down and pick Yes with power button.
7. Afterwards you phone will reset and reboot.
