A hard reset, also known as a factory reset or master reset, is the restoration of a device to the state it was in when it left the factory.

All settings, applications and data added by the user are removed.

The term is often heard in reference to smartphones and tablets but laptop and desktop computers, as well as most other electronic devices, can usually be restored to factory conditions.

 

1. Check if your device is turned off, if it's not hold down power button.

2. When your device is turned off please press and hold power button and volume down button.

3. Wait untill LG logo appears on the screen and release the buttons.

4. Android recovery menu should appear now.

5. Use Volume keys to navigate and press Power key to select it.

6. Go on to wipe data/factory reset and proceed

7. After the data is erased from your device your phone will restart, good job.
