A Hard Reset reverts a phone to its original settings and a clean OS (Operating System) removing all data and information added to the cell phone by the mobile phone user.
In essence a Hard Reset erases everything from the phone and puts the phone back to like new condition as though it’s brand new right out of the box.
METHOD 1
1. First thing you have to do is turn off you phone, press and hold power button for few seconds.
2. Like in most cases of LG phones with hard reset now press and hold Volume Down + Power button + Home button at the same time.
3. As soon you will see LG logo, you can let go of the buttons.
4. Now you should be seeing recovery mode menu.
5. To go up or down just use your volume buttons and confirm with power button.
6. Now scroll down to wipe data/factory reset option and confirm.
7. And this is it. You finished the whole process.
METHOD 2
1. For this method you will need powered ON device, if it isn't just hold down Power button to turn it on.
2. Now please go to your setting and scroll down to Back up and Reset and tap on it.
3. Now you should see this menu, so please choose Factory data reset.
4. You're almost there! Now just read warning messege about loosing your data and press Reset device on the botton of the screen.
5. Wait untill phone will finish operation and will be good as new.
