In order to hard reset a Micromax A116 Canvas HD, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Micromax A116 Canvas HD device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Turn off the phone.
2. Press'n'hold the Volume + Power buttons until a small menu shows on screen.
3. Using Volume Up to do so, select Recovery Mode option.
4. Press Power button when an Android logo appears on screen.
5. Select the wipe data/factory reset option by using Volume buttons to scroll and Menu + Back to select.
6. Afterwards, select Yes - delete all user data and Reboot.
7. Done.
