In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Micromax X099.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Micromax X099 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Make sure that your phone is turned on.
2. Open Menu, enter Settings and select Restore factory settings.
3. Enter the phone's password. Default password is 0000.
4. Lastly, confirm any incoming messages and allow your phone to reset and restart. Voila!
1. First, power down the device.
2. Second, hold down the Volume Up and Power button until the Reset menu pops on screen.
