In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Microsoft Lumia 550.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Microsoft Lumia 550 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. Turn off the device.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Down and Power buttons for a few seconds.
3. Let go of the above buttons when an exclamation mark appears onscreen.
4. Press in the following sequence of buttons: Volume Up > Volume Down > Power > Volume Down.
5. Voila, the hard reset is complete.
1. Power up the device with a Power button.
2. Enter Main Menu and select Windows Phone Settings.
3. Next, select About and Reset your phone.
5. Your phone will now reset and restart.
