In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Microsoft Lumia 640 Dual SIM device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. Power down the smartphone.
2. Is it off? Okay, press the Power button.
3. Next, press'n'hold the Volume Down button.
4. Let go of these buttons after an exclamation mark pops onscreen.
5. Tap in this sequence: Volume Up > Volume Down > Power > Volume Down.
6. Success! The hard rest has just been performed.
Instruction III:
1. Turn the phone on with a press of the Power button.
2. Open Windows Phone Settings.
3. Select About.
4. Lastly, select Reset your phone.
5. Done! Your device should now reset and restart.
