In order to hard reset a Motorola C980, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Motorola C980 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Turn on the phone. Then enter Menu > Settings > Advanced > Reset Defaults > Reset Settings.
2. Type in your phone's security code (000000 be default). Press Ok to confirm.
3. A message will appear on-screen. Read it and select Yes. Done.
