In order to hard reset a Motorola cd930, you should perform the following steps.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola CHARM device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

1. Turn off the phone.

2. Remove the battery and put it back in.
3. Press'n'hold the Power and X buttons.

4. Now select the wipe data/factory reset > Yes -- delete all user data > reboot system now options.


5. Done.
