In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola DEFY XT535.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola DEFY XT535 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. Turn on the phone.
2. Starting from the Home Screen, open Main Menu and Settings.
3. Now select Backup&Reset, Factory data reset and Reset phone.
4. Lastly, select Erase Everything and OK. Well done, the process is complete.
1. Press the Power button until the phone turns off.
2. Now press & hold the Volume Down & Power button for ten seconds or so.
3. Let go of these buttons when an Android logo pops on-screen. Now enter Recovery Mode by press-holding the Menu button.
4. New menu will open. Use Volume buttons to select wipe data/factory reset; tap Power button to confirm.
5. Continue by selecting Yes and Reboot System Now.
6. Well done, the hard reset is complete.
