In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola DROID 2.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola DROID 2 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

Instruction I:

 

1. First, switch off the phone.

2. Next, press-hold the Volume and Power buttons until an Android logo pops on-screen.

3. Now press the Home button.

4. Select the wipe data/factory reset option. Use Volume buttons to navigate to the option and Power button to confirm your choice.

5. Next, select Yes - delete all user data as well as reboot system now.

6. Done, the process is now complete.

Instruction II:


1. Switch off the device.

2. Press-hold both X and Power buttons. Release them when a triangle icon appears on-screen.

3. Now press and hold both Volume buttons.

4. Select theb wipe data/factory reset option using Volume buttons to scroll and Power button to confirm.

5. Then select Yes - delete all user data and reboot system now.

6. Done! The phone should now reset and restart.
