In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola DROID BIONIC XT865.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola DROID BIONIC XT865 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

 

Instruction I:


1. Press-hold the Volume and Power buttons until the phone turns on and a new menu opens.

2. Select Recovery. Use Volume Down to scroll through the options and Volume Up to select it.
3. Wait for an exclamation mark to appear on-screen. When it does, press-hold the Volume buttons.

4. Another menu should open. From it, select Wipe data / factory reset. Volume Down navigates, Power button confirms.

5. Continue to YES - delete all user data.
6. Factory Data Reset will now begin. Once it is done, press Power button to start a reboot.
7. Done.

Instruction II:

1. Press Menu button. Enter Settings, Privacy and Factory Data Reset.
2. Complete the process by selecting Erase internal storage and Reset Phone. Woohoo.
