In order to hard reset a Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Hold down the Volume Down and Power buttons.
3. Next, select Recovery - Volume Down navigates the menu, Volume Up selects options.
4. Triangular Android icon will appear on the screen. When it does, press both Volume buttons.
5. Next, select wipe data/factory reset - Volume navigates the menu, Power selects options.
