In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola FIRE XT.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola FIRE XT device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

 

Instruction One:


1. Turn off the phone.

2. Press'n'hold the Power and Volume buttons.

3. Android logo will appear onscreen. When it does, press Home button.

4. Now select Wipe data/factory reset. Use Volume buttons to scroll the menu and Power button to select the option.

5. Now select Reebot system now. Done.



Instruction Two:


1. Turn on the phone by pressing the Power button.

2. Open Menu and go to Settings, Initial Setup and Master Reset.
3. Type in the Security Code. Default code is 000000.
4. Lastly, select OK. Done!

 

Instruction Three:



1. Press Menu button.
2. Enter Settings, Privacy, Factory Data Reset and Reset Phone.
3. Done.
