In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola Nexus 6.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola Nexus 6 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

 

Instruction I:


1. Turn off the device.

2. Hold down the Power & Volume buttons until a new menu pops open.

3. Select the Recovery option. Use Volume to navigate to the option and Power to select it.


4. Press'n'hold the Power button when an Android button appears on-screen.

5. As you hold it down, press and release the Volume Up button.

6. Next, select wipe data/factory reset - Volume Down navigates the menu, Power selects options.


7. Now select, in the same way as above, Yes - delete all user data and reboot system now.

8. Voila, the hard reset is now complete.

Instruction III:


1. Press-hold the Power button until the phone turns on.

2. Now enter Menu > Settings > Backup&Reset.
3. Continue to Factory data reset, Reset phone and Erase Everything.
4. Lastly, select OK. Done.
