In order to hard reset a Motorola RIZR Z8, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Motorola RIZR Z8 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Press-hold the Power button until the phone turns on.
2. Next open Main Menu and go to Settings, Initial Setup and Master Reset.
3. Now enter a lock code - default codes are 0000 and/or 1234.
4. Press Left Softkey to confirm the operation. Phone will now reset and restart. Done!
