In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola XOOM 2 3G MZ616.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola XOOM 2 3G MZ616 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. Power up the phone.
2. Open Menu and choose Settings, Privacy, Factory data reset, Reset device and Erase everything.
3. Done.
Instruction II:
1. Press'n'hold the Power button until the phone turns off.
2. Now press'n'hold the Volume buttons for five seconds or so. As you hold them, press and release Power button as well.
3. Next, select Recovery - Volume Down to scroll through the options, Volume Up to confirm your choice.
5. Wait for an Android logo to show on-screen. When it does, hold down the Power and Volume buttons for a few seconds.
6. You will see a new menu. From it, select the wipe data/factory reset option. To do that, use Volume buttons to navigate through the menu and Power button to confirm your choice.
7. Next, select the Yes - delete all user data and reboot system now options.
8. Well done, the hard reset process is complete.
