In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola XT390.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola XT390 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

 

Instruction I:


1. Power down the phone.

2. Press & hold the Power and Volume buttons simultaneously.

3. Press Home button when an Android logo pops onscreen.

4. Select wipe data/factory reset > Yes - delete all user data and reboot system now. Use Volume buttons to navigate the menu and Power button to select options.


Well done, the hard reset process is now over.

Instruction II:

 

1. Press-hold the Power button until the phone turns on.

2. Now enter Menu > Settings > Initial setup and Master reset.
3. You now need to tap in the security code (000000 by default).
4. Confirm by selecting OK. Done.
