In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Motorola XT532.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Motorola XT532 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

 

Instruction Number One:


1. Switch off the phone by holding down the Power button.

2. Now press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down and Power buttons. Hold them down until an Android logo appears on-screen.

3. Press Home button. Recovery menu will open.

4. The option you need to select is wipe data/factory reset. Select it using Volume buttons to navigate the menu and Power button to confirm your choice.

5. Next, select Yes - delete all user data and then reboot system now.

6. Congrats, your phone should now reset and restart, thus completing the hard reset process.

 

Instruction Number Three:

 

1. First of all, power up the phone.

2. Continue by opening Main Menu, then selecting Settings, Initial setup and Master reset.

3. Type in the proper lock code. Default code is either 0000 or 1234.
4. Now press Left Softkey.
5. Your phone will now reset and restart. Well done.
