In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Nokia 1616.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Nokia 1616 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction One:
1. Power up the phone.
2. Open the dialer, enter this code into it - *#7370# - and confirm.
3. Enter the lock code into the phone (12345 by default). Device will reset and restart.
1. Start up the phone.
2. Now press the Power + Call + * + 3 buttons. Release them when the Nokia logo pops on-screen.
3. Lastly, enter the lock code into the phone (default code is 12345). Voila! That is all.
Instruction Three:
1. Switch on the device.
2. Go to Menu > Settings > Restore Factory Settings.
3. Type in security code (12345 by default).
4. Allow the device to reset and restart, completing the hard reset process. Voila.
