In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Nokia 701.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Nokia 701 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. Turn on the phone.
2. Press and hold the Menu & Volume Down & Power & Camera buttons.
3. Let go of them when the Nokia logo pops on-screen.
4. Enter the 12345 lock code.
5. Allow your phone to reset and restart. Done.
1. Power up the phone.
2. Open the dialer, enter this code into it - *#7370# - and confirm.
3. Enter the lock code into the phone (12345 by default). Device will reset and restart.
1. Press-hold the Power button until the phone turns on.
2. Now press Menu button. A new menu (duh) will open. From it, go to Settings, Phone, Phone Management, Factory Settings and Delete Data and Restore.
3. Last of all, confirm the operation by pressing Yes. Voila, done.
