In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Nokia 7230.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Nokia 7230 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

 

Instruction I:


1. Press-hold the Power button until the phone turns on.

2. Now press Menu button. A new menu (duh) will open. From it, go to Settings, Phone, Phone Management, Factory Settings and Delete Data and Restore.


3. Last of all, confirm the operation by pressing Yes. Voila, done.

Instruction II:


1. Power up the phone.

2. Open the dialer, enter this code into it - *#7370# - and confirm.
3. Enter the lock code into the phone (12345 by default). Device will reset and restart.

Instruction III:

1. Power down the phone.

2. Press and hold these four buttons until the Nokia logo pops on-screen - * + Power + Call + 3.


3. Now enter the phone's lock code (it may be 0000 or 000000 or 12345).
4. Phone will now reset and restart, thus completing the hard reset. Congratulations, clap clap.
