In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Nokia Lumia 505.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Nokia Lumia 505 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction 1:
1. Switch the phone on by pressing the Power button.
2. Open Settings > Restore Factory Settings > Settings only.
3. Type in the security code (12345 by default). Confirm. Done!
1. Power down the phone.
2. Press & hold these buttons until the phone vibates - Camera + Volume Down + Power buttons until your phone vibrates.
3. Let go of the Power button. Hold down the others for five seconds more.
4. Your phone should now reset and restart. Done.
