In our description database there are 2 solutions for performing hard reset for Nokia Lumia 820.
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Nokia Lumia 820 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
1. Switch off the device by holding down the Power button.
2. Now press'n'hold the Power button. Let go of it when the phone vibrates.
3. Afterwards, press'n'hold Volume Down. Let go of it when an exclamation mark appears on-screen.
4. Press these buttons in exacly this order: Volume Up > Volume Down > Power > Volume Down.
5. Done, that is all. Phone should now reset and restart, completing the hard reset process.
