In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Nokia N79.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.

Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Nokia N79 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

 

Instruction One:


1. Turn on the phone.

2. Press'n'hold the 3, *, Call and Power buttons until the Nokia logo appears on-screen.


3. Type in the phone's lock code, 12345 by default. Done! Phone will now reset and restart.

Instruction Two:



1. Press-hold the Power button until the phone turns on.

2. Now enter Menu. From there, go to Settings > Phone > Phone management > Factory Settings > Delete data and restore.


3. Last of all, confirm the hard reset process by selecting Yes. Voila, done.

Instruction Three:

 

1. Power up the phone.

2. Open the dialer, enter this code into it - *#7370# - and confirm.
3. Enter the lock code into the phone (12345 by default). Device will reset and restart.
