In order to hard reset a Philips S388, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Philips S388 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Hold down the Power button until the device turns off.
2. Press and hold Power & Volume buttons simultaeously.
3. Release them when the Android icon appears on the screen. Enter Recovery Mode by press-holding the Power button.
4. Next, select Wipe Data/Factory Reset. Do that by navigating to the option with Volume Down and selecting it with Volume Up.
5. Lastly, select Yes - delete all user data and Reboot System Now.
6. Your phone should now reset and restart, completing the hard reset process. Done.
