In order to hard reset a Sony Ericsson W705, you should perform the following steps.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Sony Ericsson W705 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Download and install the PC Companion application on your computer.
2. The below window should appear.
3. Hover your mouse over the Support Zone Now!. When able to, select Start.
4. Wait until the installation process is complete.
5. Now select the phone / tablet software update option. Select Start again and then repair my phone / tablet.
6. Some info will pop on-screen, accept it. App should now start "preparing computer for software update.
7. Select your phone's model from the list.
8. More info should appear. Follow the on-screen instructions and connect your phone to your PC via an USB cable.
9. Voila, done!
