In order to hard reset Acer beTouch E140, you should follow the steps listed below.
Remember! Hard reset will delete all the data on your device; pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Acer beTouch E140 device will be brought back to the default configuration of a brand new device.
1. Be so kind as to turn the phone off.
2. Next, press and hold Volume Down + Power button until the phone vibrates once.
3. After the phone vibrated, quickly release Volume down and press Volume up. A new menu will show on screen.
4. Use Volume buttons to select "Recovery".
5. Then, choose "Wipe data/factory reset" from the menu, using Volume buttons to browse and Menu button to confirm.
6. Confirm operation: "yes - delete all data" with Menu key.
7. Last of all, choose option "reboot system now".
