In our tutorial base there is 2 solutions for hard reset Acer CloudMobile S500.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If first solution will not work then use next method.

Important, hard reset will delete any data on your device, like pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Acer CloudMobile S500 device will be brought back, to the same configuration as if you bought a brand new device.

Solution #1


1. Switch off your mobile by pressing Power key.


2. Press and hold Volume Down + Power key.


3. When the device starts vibrating, release Volume Down and press Volume Up.


4. The device will be vibrating again. When it does, release all the buttons.
5. A menu will open. From it, choose "Wipe Data/Factory Reset" by using Volume buttons to scroll and Power button to select options.


6. If you are sure you want to do this, confirm the operation by tap "Yes--delete all user data".


7. Accept option "reboot system now" by using the Power button.


8. *claps* Hard reset has been finished. Pat yourself on the back. You deserve it.

Solution #2


1. Start with turning off the device by pressing and holding the Power button for a moment.


2. Next, go the Menu, then find and select Settings.
3. Afterwards, choose Backup & Reset and tap Factory data reset.
4. Choose Reset device and select Erase everything to confirm.
5. Hurray! You have just performed a hard reset operation!
