In our tutorial base there is 2 solutions for hard reset Acer Predator 8.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If first solution will not work then use next method.

Important, hard reset will delete any data on your device, like pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Acer Predator 8 device will be brought back, to the same configuration as if you bought a brand new device.

Solution #1


1. First of all, turn the device on by pressing the Power button for a few moments.


2. Next, hold down the Volume Up key - also for a few moments.


3. As you hold the Volume Up button, press and hold the Power key for 3 (not 2 and not 4, but 3) seconds, then release it. Keep holding the Volume Up button.


4. As soon as the tablet screen turns back on, cease holding the buttons
5. You will see a menu. Choose "Wipe Data/Factory Reset"  (use Volume buttons to scroll and Power button to select options).


6. Tap "yes" to complete the operation. Remember that this will clean your device of all data. 



7. Using the Power button, accept the "reboot system now" option.


8. Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.

Solution #2


1. Begin by turning off the device by pressing the Power button for a short while.


2. Later, go to the Menu > Settings.
3. Then, press Backup & Reset and tap Factory data reset.


4. Next, choose Reset device and select Erase everything to complete the operation.
5. Good job, you have performed a hard reset.
