In our tutorial base there are 3 solutions for hard reseting Asus Fonepad.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If first solution will not work then use next method.

Important, hard reset will delete any data on your device, like pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Asus Fonepad device will be brought back, to the same configuration as if you bought a brand new device.

Solution #1


1. Start by pressing the Power key to turn off your tablet.


2. Next, press and hold Volume Up + Power button at once for about 5 seconds.


3. Now, you can release held keys when you see menu appearing on your screen.
4. Next, press Volume Down and select "Recovery" option. Then press Power button to confirm.
5. Now, press Volume Down and choose "wipe data/factory reset", and then push the Power button to confirm.


6. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.


7. In order to restart the tablet, select "reboot system now".


8. Victory! The hard reset is done!

Solution #2


1. First, turn the device on with the Power button.


2. Second, go to Settings > Backup & reset.
3. Next, tap Factory Data Reset and select Reset Tablet.
4. Put the safety code in and choose Erase Everything.
5. To confirm the operation, select okay.
6. Voila!

Solution #3


1. Begin by switching off your device by holding the Power key.


2. Next, press and hold Volume Up + Power button at the same time for a few seconds.


3. Now, wait until you can you see menu on your screen and release the said keys.
4. Next, press Volume Down to select option "Factory Reset (Wipe Data)", and press Power button to confirm.
5. You've done it! The hard reset is complete.
