In our tutorial base there are two solutions for how to hard reset Samsung Galaxy A7.

Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution will not work, use next method.

Warning! Hard reset will delete any data on your device, like pictures, contacts, messages, apps and more.
Samsung Galaxy A7 device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.

Solution #1


1. Begin by switching the cell phone off by pressing the Power button.


2. Afterwards, press and hold Volume Up + Home + Power button until the Samsung logo appears.


3. Next, enter Recovery Mode menu and select wipe data / factory reset -  use Volume buttons to move up/down and Power button to confirm.


4. Choose "Yes -- delete all user data" to approve the operation.


5. Next, select "reboot system now" option.


6. Well done! You have performed the hard reset.

Solution #2


1. Start by turning the device on.


2. Beginning at the Home Screen, go to Menu > Settings.
3. Tap Backup & reset first and then Reset device.
4. In order to confirm, press Erase everything.
5. You're done.
