1. For starters, turn off your phone.
2. Is it off? Good. Now, press and hold the Volume Down + Power button for a couple of seconds.
3. When the Fastboot Mode appears on the phone's screen, feel free to release held keys.
4. If all went well, you now should be in the expected mode. Huzzah.
