1. First, power up the phone by pressing the Power button.


2. Next, hold down the Power and Volume Up buttons for a moment.


3. Release held buttons after the Gionee icon appears on screen.
4. After the Android Robot shows on screen, press the Power key. As you hold it, press Volume Up.


5. When in Recovery mode, navigate using Volume buttons and select options with Power button.
